Engagement

Instagram is a big algorithm full of pictures with likes and comments, the more likes and comments the more popular the post. So if you think about it , wouldn’t it make sense if a person just started commenting on post and replies to become popular? With Instagram think of yourself as self advertising; the more you interact, the more interaction you’ll get to your page.

Respond

At the end of the day, your image is everything, and nobody likes someone that seems like they’re stuck up. I’m not saying everyone deserves a response, but replying back to a DM or comment on a post never hurt anybody. Hell, IG even helps you with the “Like a Comment’ feature, its literally responding without words. The more you respond, the more people will actually want to follow and interact with you.

Connect

Don’t be afraid to reach out to other brands and people for joint ventures and collaborations. We can network in person easily, its also appropriate to network on social media platforms. A shoutout for shoutout is technically an undisclosed business agreement, why stop there? In todays world of success, it’s not what you know, but who you know. When it comes to Instagram, it’s not who you know, it’s who follows who.

Following

The elephant in the room, followers: where they at though? They’re there, you just have to get them to follow you. A few methods to think about, remember let Instagram work for you. Go on a following and a following people back spree, chances are when you do, you’ll pop on other users feeds as “@… has followed,” which leads to interactions. The more active on Instagram you are with other users, the more traffic will increase to your page.
